  4Networking in the Vale!
February 2008

Anyone in business knows that networking is one of the best ways of making contacts and finding new customers, and there are now even more opportunities to promote your business in the area as 4Networking, the UK’s fastest growing business networking organisation, has opened up new groups in Faringdon and Abingdon.

4Networking prides itself on being different from other, more traditional networking groups. It offers fortnightly business breakfast events that are friendly and relaxed, yet productive, with as few rules as possible. All business types are welcome, no-one is excluded and breakfast is at a reasonable hour, with events running between 8am-10am.

The organisation is expanding fast to form a complete joined-up network, allowing members to attend events up to four times every week. There are now over 70 groups around the country, with several across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, and new groups are coming on-stream every week.

Each breakfast event includes the opportunity for you to give a 40-second summary to the group on you and your business; three 10-minute one-to-one meetings, ideal for developing relationships and business; and the 4Sight slot: a short, stimulating presentation on a business topic.

At 4Networking, members attend events because they want to, not because they are told to, and business is generated through genuine opportunities and connections rather than large numbers of ‘referrals’.

Each breakfast event costs members just £10 and visitors are always welcome - you can go to up to three meetings, paying £10 for your breakfast before you have to make a decision about joining. 4Networking offers a range of flexible membership options, including a great-value trial offer to take out a 2-month ‘Passport’, allowing new members the opportunity to sample as many different groups as they like.  Alternatively, membership to just a single group is also available. However, it’s the ‘passport’ option, with its flexibility to visit any group on any occasion, which is proving to be the most popular. However, 4Networking also offers more than face-to-face meetings. The website provides detailed information about all aspects of 4Networking; easy event booking and admin; and a vibrant, active online forum, providing valuable business advice, new business opportunities and even non-business chat. It’s free to register on the site and to display your business profile, and there are now over 4000 online members. You can find out more at www.4networking.biz

Proof that 4Networking has really established itself as the business networking organisation is its status in Google. Enter ‘Business networking’ as a search request and 4Networking is number one, a place it intends to consolidate and develop both online and at breakfast events. 4Networking is well on the way to becoming a fully national UK organisation, and by the end of 2008 there will be over 250 groups.

In this area there are groups in Faringdon (alternate Thursdays at Carswell Golf Club, next meetings 7th and 21st Feb) and Abingdon (alternate Fridays at the Ock Mill, 8th and 22nd Feb), as well as in Swindon, Witney, Reading and another 60 locations around the country. You can view the full list and find out much more about 4Networking on the website: www.4networking.biz or call 0845 123 4444.
